What does Handcuff mean?
A handcuff is the direct backup to one of your starting running backs. If the starter gets hurt, the handcuff inherits his workload and becomes a league-winner. Handcuffing your top RB with his own backup is one of the most underrated late-round moves.

Should you handcuff your RB1?▾
Only if the backup would actually inherit the job. A handcuff is worth a late pick when the backfield has one clear number two; if the work would be split three ways, the roster spot is better spent on upside elsewhere. Handcuffs matter most in deep leagues and behind injury-prone starters.
