2026 Fantasy Football Draft Tiers

A value board for your 2026 draft. Every position is split into tiers, and players inside the same tier carry roughly the same draft value. The board tells you when a tier is thinning out, so you reach for the position that is about to fall off a cliff and stay patient everywhere else.

Tier drafting beats chasing a flat ranking list. The gap between the number 4 and number 8 running back is often noise, so once you are inside a tier you draft for roster need, not for one slot of ranking. The real decision is value versus reach: when a tier still has bodies left, wait and take the best player at another position. When a tier is down to its last name or two, that is the moment to reach, because the drop-off to the next tier is the part that actually costs you.

This is DraftCall's own value board, built from recent production and refreshed every day through the preseason. No hand-ranking, no hot takes. Use it to frame your draft board, then settle the close calls inside any tier by comparing two players head to head in the app.

How to draft the board

  • Count the names left in each tier before every pick. The thinnest tier across your needs is the one to address now.
  • Inside a tier, draft for roster construction (bye weeks, scoring format, lineup gaps), not for one rung of ranking.
  • A reach is only a reach when the tier still has depth. Taking the last player in a tier ahead of value is good process, not a mistake.

Settle the tier-vs-tier debate before you pick

When two players share a tier and you can only take one, compare them head to head in the DraftCall app. The AI engine weighs matchup, recent form, and your scoring format, so the close calls stop being coin flips.
