David Montgomery is the Houston Texans number 32 running back, a seasoned 7-year pro, and finished the 2026 regular season as a low-end fantasy option at his position. He averaged 8.4 fantasy points per game across 5 appearances, which ranks him 29th among running backs in our 2026 draft board. That per-game number is the starting point for every start or sit decision you make with him in 2026.
David Montgomery finished 2026 with 138 rushing yards and 2 ground scores. His passing-game role is limited, which makes him heavily game-script dependent in PPR and half-PPR formats.
